About The Position

The Grape Assessment Lab is seeking a seasonal lab aide to support our operation and deliver quality chemistry data used for research and production. As a member of our team, you will be exposed to our grape supply and have hands-on experience operating equipment used to process grapes into lab samples. Under general supervision, you will work in a team who supports maintaining a clean and safe work environment that allows the team to process samples in a timely manner. You will be responsible for setting up equipment and stocking supplies and for clean up after each operation day. Cleaning of location also involves the disposal of grape waste which may require driving to a different site. You will operate machinery independently or alongside colleagues. As most of the work for this position takes place in a wet lab setting, you will be responsible for following all safety procedures and measures pertaining to that work setting. Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness. Requirements

• High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and any shift when needed.
• Seasonal availability for a 6 day work week (4 - 6 hours per day).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions.
• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in basic arithmetic operations.
