About The Position

Exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Lab Aide to work in Valley View Hospital's Laboratory! As a Lab Aide you will receive and collect lab specimens, perform phlebotomy and capillary sticks according to laboratory procedure, and register patients and enter orders amongst other responsibilities! Great schedule! 3 12-hour evening shifts a week with one weekend shift per month!

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred
• Basic computer and filing skills
• Ability to order tests accurately

Responsibilities

• Receive and collect lab specimens
• Perform phlebotomy and capillary sticks according to laboratory procedure
• Register patients and enter orders
