About The Position

The L3 Infrastructure Engineer position involves managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless systems. The role requires expertise in Cisco technologies, server management, and data center operations. The engineer will be responsible for supporting IT cabling, infrastructure planning, and design, as well as managing server room hardware components. The position also includes responsibilities for network maintenance, support, and vendor management.

Requirements

• 6 - 8 years of experience in network and server management.
• Cisco CCNA certification.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, Subnetting, VLAN, and POE.
• Knowledge of Server 2012/2016 Policy and Security Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with desktop management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and administration of Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 Routing.
• Management of Cisco Wireless Networks and Cisco PBX Administration.
• Support IT Cabling, Infrastructure Planning, and Design.
• Perform cable patching, switch configuration/deployment, and port enable/disable.
• Analyze network traffic.
• Experience with packet capturing using tools like Wire Shark.
• Network maintenance, support, and refresh.
• Provide Smart Hands support for remote teams and manage 3rd party vendor issues.
• Data Center Management including power, UPS, HVAC, and cabling.
• Install and troubleshoot server room hardware components.
• Administer Windows Server operating systems, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Manage DHCP, DNS, Print Server, and File services.
• Support hardware for servers, data backup libraries, and SAN/NAS.
• Maintain and refresh server, storage, and backup systems.
