This position involves traveling between lab/office sites. There are NVIDIA buses that will be available for use or can walk, or drive. Mileage will be paid if decide to drive between sites (must have proper documentation). required to be on call until 11:00pmMonday-Sunday once every 4 weeks. L2: - Provide insight into ticket tracking and lab issues - Troubleshoot a variety of servers and isolate the problem that the server is encountering. - Order replacement parts and install them in servers and ship back the defective part to their respective vendors. - Update firmware on servers to ensure the latest version is installed. - Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers. - Reach out and assist network admins on any issues they are having with a server that can range from: replacing broken or damaged cables, re-routing cables to different ports on the server or switch, replacing optics on both server and switch ports, changing out parts and installing upgraded versions of those parts in servers. - Temporarily rack and stack a server or switch in a cabinet and cable it so the network admin can remotely log in and run configurations on device. - Assist network admins who reach out requesting specific assistance with servers or switch. - Assist out with Level 1 responsibilities as necessary. - Must know or be willing to learn how to troubleshoot PCs and Laptops for the Remote Desktop Center (RDC) that engineers use to run their labs remotely.
