About The Position

As part of the WM Platforms Team, this candidate should be comfortable solving tough problems and challenging the status quo to design solutions that enhance the strategy and onboarding platform portfolio. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to engage with various stakeholders surrounding a key business initiative and leverage advanced technologies. Primary focus will include overseeing the Client and Account Onboarding Platform that supports several dynamic and multi-phase projects to transform the firm's existing client onboarding and Know Your Client (KYC)/Enhanced Due Diligence process. Liaison Role: Serve as a bridge between business, product, User Experience, Financial Crimes Risk, and technology teams to deliver platform solutions and create new processes. Agile Squad Leadership: Own business requirements and user stories, translating stakeholder needs into well-crafted backlog items. Collaborate closely with agile squads to refine, prioritize, and deliver high-value features through sprint planning and execution. Backlog Management: Own backlog refinement and sprint planning; clearly articulate requirements to squad and program stakeholders and drive timely delivery of key features. Engagement & Transformation: Lead client and account onboarding transformation initiatives, identify high-impact opportunities, and craft compelling business cases across multiple business channels demonstrating strong ROI potential. Business Analysis & Testing: Conduct comprehensive business analysis to define detailed technology requirements; carry out testing to confirm quality of features delivered. Process Improvement: Critically evaluate and optimize existing processes, system controls, and technology solutions to address the needs of key business stakeholders. User Journey & Process Alignment: Map and refine critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes to align with strategic objectives and meet user and business requirements. Strategic Change Support: Champion strategic change efforts from ideation through post-launch—managing requirements gathering, conducting impact analysis, overseeing user testing, executing rollout plans, and monitoring success metrics. Demonstrates a self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of leading project activities and driving results. Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex projects for senior leadership and build strong relationships across teams. Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking: Exhibits strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, adept at managing ambiguity, synthesizing data, and providing innovative solutions to both tactical and strategic challenges. Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent initiatives, with experience in Agile or application development methodologies, and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and creating business requirements. Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills: Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, capable of gaining consensus across multiple teams to drive execution and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment. At least 5 years of relevant experience in software or product implementation, product owner roles, consulting, or similar fields. A bachelor's degree is required. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
