About The Position

We are looking to expand our VIP Onboarding & ODD Team at our headquarters in Copenhagen. As our new KYC Analyst or Senior KYC Analyst, you will be part of a strong team focused on VIP onboarding and Ongoing Due Diligence at Saxo Bank. The purpose is to deliver best-in-class onboarding experiences, conduct enhanced due diligence, and identify and mitigate risks during Onboarding (ONB) and Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) while providing a great client experience. You will work closely with stakeholders at our headquarters in both the financial crime prevention and commercial organizations to ensure a compliant, efficient onboarding journey with robust controls and minimal friction for VIP clients.

Requirements

  • You bring solid experience working with KYC and are fluent in a Nordic language, enabling you to navigate complex compliance requirements with confidence.
  • A strong background in AML and KYC, combined with knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, ensures you can operate effectively in a highly regulated environment.
  • Your ability to collect and analyse data with precision is complemented by strong attention to detail and the capacity to work independently.
  • You excel at managing stakeholders and building productive relationships across teams.
  • Finally, you communicate clearly and professionally in English, both in writing and speech.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, ICA, or similar are considered an advantage.
  • Experience with one or more of our customer segments - private, corporate, and institutional - will help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming client applications in accordance with KYC procedures, Global Minimum KYC Standards, and Saxo Group’s Risk Appetite.
  • Perform end-to-end onboarding and ODD for private and corporate VIP clients.
  • Build and share knowledge within the team on VIP onboarding, EDD, and ODD processes and tasks.
  • Meet SLAs for case processing and agreed quality standards.
  • Identify and escalate opportunities for process improvement and system automation with a focus on enhancing the client experience.
  • Participate in daily tasks such as quality checks and processing incoming requests in the team inbox.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, sound business procedures, and strong client focus.
