The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

Requirements

• EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
• EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have four years of experience working within a healthcare field to include three years of supervisory experience in the management of a hospital, long-term care facility or healthcare operation.
• SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be licensed as a Long-Term Care Administrator by the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Long-Term Care Administrators as required by KRS 216A.030 and KRS 216A.080 and defined by 201 KAR 6:020. https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/kar/titles/201/006/020/.pdf https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52539 Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Responsibilities

• Lead a large, diverse team in providing skilled nursing care and services to veterans
• Innovation leadership focusing on person centered care and team member engagement
• Regulatory compliance for state, federal and department of Veterans Affairs regulations and requirements
• Focus on quality of care and services
• Engage community leaders including local veteran service organizations
• Be a true servant leader
