About The Position

The nursing faculty responsibilities include teaching assigned didactic lectures, lab, and clinical rotations in behavioral health (psychiatric) and medical-surgical nursing. Other responsibilities include the coordination of outpatient behavioral health experiences and simulation instruction. Nursing faculty members participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum and other activities pertinent to program accreditation. Faculty serve as advisors to nursing students and are active members of assigned College committees.

Requirements

Master’s degree in nursing, and an unencumbered Maine RN license
3–5 years of experience in the practice of behavioral health (psychiatric) nursing and medical surgical nursing
Demonstrated professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative work style are essential
Must meet clinical facility immunization requirements
