About The Position

Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. In this role as a Network Development Engineer, you will design and implement Kuiper's enterprise networks supporting manufacturing facilities, research labs, launch sites, and mission operations centers. Responsible for LAN/WAN architecture, routing, and switching across multiple global locations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS and AWS networking products such as Direct Connect and Transit Gateway
