About The Position

Bayside Kubota in Upper Marlboro, MD is currently looking to hire a Parts Advisor/Counter Person. Requirements

Preferably one to two years’ experience as a Parts Advisor.Counter Person but not necessary.
A strong passion working with people and equipment.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Valid driver’s license with a good record.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
A self-motivator with strong attention to detail.
Strong leadership qualities.
A results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Obtain customer and equipment info prior to arrival, when possible.
Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
Clearly write up customers’ equipment problems accurately and efficiently.
Handle telephone inquiries and follow up on customers’ voicemail messages.
Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
Process customer payment transactions to complete billing of repairs.
Advise customers on the care of their equipment and the value of maintaining their equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
Help to coordinate the pick up and return of equipment via dealership’s delivery services.
Work closely with Technicians, Parts Department, Sales Department, and all other employees within the Dealership to achieve a common goal.
