Requirements

• Requires at least an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Desired Bachelors in related field.
• 5+ years of recent experience with Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker containers, Microsoft PowerShell, Python, and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in GITLAB functionality, error codes, and scripting, as well as AWS services/technology.
• Kafka experience is also needed as the technology will form the connection for the integration of the software into JLVC.
• Experience in DevSecOps is desired.
• Experience in supporting an operational environment is required.
• Some support may be required after hours and weekends depending on JLVC exercises.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code, review code within Git, and create/maintain DevOps documentation.
• Provide contributions to CDRLs including presentation materials, technical reports, software documents, and training materials.
• Provide on-site technical support during JLVC exercises and wargames, including troubleshooting software related issues.
• Support the upgrade and deployment of ongoing software releases within the JLVC construct.
• Conduct security remediation as needed from scans.
• Provide a report after each JLVC related wargame/exercise outlining what went well, what did not go well and participant feedback.
• Attend meetings / engage with the DevSecOps and Development teams as required.
• Support Prime as directed in providing expertise in supporting a microservices architecture and deployment within a live wargame environment.
• Track issues identified during JLVC events through to resolution and assist the team in prioritizing issues required for upcoming JLVC events.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to implement automation, enforce best practices, and support integration of new services within the Kubernetes cluster.
