Job Summary: The Infrastructure Solutions Architect will provide architecture support for DHHS and DHHS AS Teams, ensuring mission-critical applications related to public health and well-being are maintained and enhanced. This role focuses on designing, integrating, and securing infrastructure solutions, promoting data sharing, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. The position involves collaboration with project managers, data stewards, and technical teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and integrate system data models to eliminate redundancy and promote efficient data use. Provide technical advice to project managers and assist in project planning. Develop and enforce data classification policies and standards. Create and maintain metadata repositories, system-level designs, and data flow diagrams. Define and enforce data standards to ensure integrity, quality, and security. Develop statewide data models and configuration management standards. Document application controls to meet security requirements. Ensure seamless data integration across internal and external systems. Evaluate and recommend software fixes and infrastructure changes for cost-effectiveness. Lead efforts for application environment consolidation, migration, and integration. Provide guidance on data modeling, design, and architectural integrity. Review and validate technical designs, specifications, and project management documents using DTMB PMM and SEM methodologies. Architect solutions for hybrid and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Recommend solutions based on technical impact analysis (TIA).
