About The Position
Kawasaki Tennessee, Inc. – Aluminum Die Casting Step into a leadership role where skill, teamwork, and precision matter. Kawasaki Tennessee, Inc. is currently looking for a Machining Night Shift (3rd Shift) Team Leader to help guide operations in our Aluminum Die Casting facility. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll work directly with the production team to keep machining operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Kanban experience is a plus
- Previous leadership experience is ideal
Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting the Machining Department team
- Monitoring production activities and helping the team meet department goals
- Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and helping improve them when needed
- Assisting with machine setups and tool changes
- Troubleshooting machines and assisting with repairs
- Performing preventative maintenance and routine machine checks
- Maintaining Safety and Quality standards
- Participating in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities, including defect investigations, cost-saving ideas, and process improvements
- Supporting additional operational needs as assigned
