About The Position

The Kronos Manager is responsible for overseeing the Kronos Time and Attendance system, including various modules such as Accruals and Advanced Scheduler, at White Plains Hospital (WPH). This role involves system configuration, enhancements, and upgrades, while serving as the primary liaison between multiple departments including HR, Finance, and Operations. The manager will provide metrics and analytics to support labor and workforce management, and will also manage a small team of Kronos specialists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of recent experience with Kronos Dimensions, Dellboomi, Workday, and Human Resource and Payroll services.
  • Prior labor management, scheduling, and staffing experience is highly recommended.
  • Clear understanding of internal pay policies.
  • Analytical and strategic skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate and present to executive teams, managers, and employees.
  • Strong knowledge of general business computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Meditech platforms.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate application administration tasks, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Partner with HR & Payroll to identify, analyze, and document business needs and requirements.
  • Lead the creation of technical specifications, design documentation, and testing strategies for business requirements.
  • Manage all tasks supporting the existing Kronos installation and direct the implementation of additional modules and upgrades.
  • Function as the subject matter expert for Kronos Timekeeping, Accruals, and other modules used at WPH.
  • Establish and communicate standards for implemented Kronos modules across the organization.
  • Analyze business needs and the impact of proposed configuration changes, making recommendations to leadership.
  • Anticipate system problems and mitigate disruptions, communicating with appropriate personnel to resolve issues.
  • Interface with various departments to resolve issues, improve workflow, and streamline processing.
  • Develop and maintain WPH policies and procedures to reflect best practices in time entry tracking and processing.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all Kronos-related issues and follow up with vendors on resolutions and updates.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of integrations/interfaces between Kronos and WPH.
  • Oversee the development of job aides and training documentation, including requirements analysis and operational procedures.
  • Manage ongoing hardware/software updates for Kronos clocks and reconcile clock inventory to maintenance agreements.
  • Summarize and present new Kronos functionality to senior leadership and internal project teams.
  • Manage the implementation and support of temporary agency staff in Kronos, including payroll reconciliation and reporting.
