The position involves leading the strategic direction of the operations team within Kroger Personal Finance (KPF). Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction of the operations team within Kroger Personal Finance (KPF).
  • Develop and implement programs to deliver the budgeted $500M+ in operational profit for KPF and the alternative profit channel.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  • Develop operational support strategies for prepaid, telecom, money services, credit card, and lottery businesses.
  • Direct operational processes and procedures including fixture development, product distribution, and planogramming.
  • Evaluate operational processes and procedures for improved execution and efficiencies.
  • Develop long-term strategic vendor partnerships to enhance store-level merchandising execution.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with vendor agencies for merchandising services across all Kroger divisions.
  • Partner with all business lines at KPF to ensure necessary execution at the store level to meet financial targets.
  • Identify, develop, and deliver cost controls and efficiencies to achieve operational budgets.
  • Review, measure, and report key product/category vendor metrics regularly.
  • Anticipate changes to the competitive landscape of operational marketing areas.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge of controls and reporting tools regarding regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate, promote, and execute KPF operational programs through KPF Sales Managers and division teams.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback.
  • Travel to meet with internal and external partners.
