About The Position

The Kroc Safety Associate is responsible for the safety and security of the entire RJKCCC facility and its guests, volunteers, and employees. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall security of the Kroc Center campus by patrolling all designated areas on foot and enforcing Center rules, regulations and codes of conduct.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years prior experience in security or related field.
• Able to function in a fast-paced, frequently changing work environment.
• Possess good Guest Service skills; must be able to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations.
• Able to stand; walk for extended periods of time; must be in good physical and mental health, capable of meeting the demand of the Kroc Center job site.
• This position requires the ability to work well with others while responding to direction and feedback.
• Must possess or be able to acquire within 30 days of employment a First aide/CPR certification card.
• Able to read, write, and clearly communicate in English.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License; must possess the ability to pass The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Driver’s Test.
• Must be able to function effectively without supervision.
• Must pass the Salvation Army Fleet Safety Driver’s Test.
• Must meet all Child Protection Clearances requirements to include 1). PA Act 153 Child Abuse History Clearance, 2). PA State Police Criminal Record Check 3). FBI Criminal Record Check and completion of PA Act 153 of 2014 Mandated Reporter training on recognizing and reporting child abuse prior to employment with recurrent training and clearance renewal required every five years thereafter.
• Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
