About The Position

Our mission is to touch and enhance lives through the joy that is Krispy Kreme, not only in our doughnut shops but also in grocery and convenience stores. This is where you come in! We make sweet treats in our Doughnut Factories, and in this role, you will do just that- ensuring that the doughnuts you make inspire customer wonder by meeting all our quality and food safety standards. You will prepare dough, glaze, icing and fillings. You’ll make sure the doughnut-making equipment is running in top shape and fix any issues that may arise.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Experience in food production or processing and reading standard operating procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment failures.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Food Safety is ideal.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized.
• Basic math skills and ability to use weights and measurements.
• Detail-oriented and enjoy documenting work.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire customer wonder by making delicious sweet treats according to Krispy Kreme high quality standards.
• Prepare ingredients and follow the right production schedule.
• Weigh ingredients and track equipment performance from the proofer to the fryer.
• Monitor the appearance of doughnuts as they come off the line.
• Help pack doughnuts when needed.
• Minimize waste and document production specs and readings.
• Restock ingredients as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety standards.
• Model effective communication skills, teamwork, and respect for others.
