About The Position

The Korean Speaking Nursing Home Concierge serves as a resident advocate, ensuring the smooth functioning of the unit by collaborating with nursing staff to address residents' needs promptly. The role requires a highly motivated and friendly individual who enjoys assisting the elderly and disabled.

Requirements

• Korean and English Fluency is Required
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Highly motivated and energetic, responsible, friendly
• Experience and preference working and assisting with the elderly and disabled
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience (1 year preferred)

Responsibilities

• Check room prior to admission and ensure that the area is clean and ready for the new resident utilizing room checklist
• Welcome new admissions upon arrival and escort to the room
• Call new admission's family member to let them know that the resident arrived and is settling in and to introduce yourself
• Act as an advocate for residents and families in your designated unit and around the building when needed
• Help CNAs with lunch in designated unit i.e.; serve coffee, place bibs, deliver trays etc.
• Conduct customer service feedback surveys to improve the quality of care for the residents
• Respond to all call bells in a timely and professional manner
• Report any issues to unit supervisor and administration
• Answer telephone, takes messages, reports requests and alerts appropriate staff to problems or questions
• Responds quickly to residents/significant others requests and refers to appropriate member of the care team, if necessary, and informs resident of actions taken and/or anticipated delays
• Promotes positive team work with co-workers and across departmental lines
• Assist with COVID swabbing as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned
