Concorde Education is seeking an engaging, student-centered Korean Instructor to facilitate a short-format after-school enrichment course for students (grade band varies by assignment). This course introduces learners to foundational Korean language skills and cultural knowledge through interactive, communication-focused instruction. Lessons emphasize speaking and listening practice, high-frequency vocabulary, and confidence-building routines aligned with student readiness. Instruction should be age-appropriate and classroom-friendly, with an emphasis on inclusive participation and practical language use. The instructor will deliver instruction across a typical 10-week cycle, with pacing adapted to student needs and site logistics. Students will learn introductory Korean communication skills, including greetings, self-introductions, common questions and responses, numbers, dates and time, and everyday vocabulary. Students will also explore Korean culture through accessible topics such as traditions, food, music, geography, and daily life, with activities that encourage cultural curiosity and respectful discussion. Depending on the grade band and program goals, the course can introduce Hangul (Korean alphabet) basics to support reading and writing of simple words and phrases.
