About The Position

The position involves testing and/or repairing various new and older products, utilizing considerable independent judgment to ensure quality, correct parts, and proper procedures are used. The role requires building, repairing, and/or testing a variety of products using both standard and non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures. Accurate recording of results and documentation for certification of products to customer requirements is essential. The candidate will need to read machine assembly specifications, such as charts and blueprints, and complete various records and documentation. The work includes precision sub-assembly, assembly, or rework of parts that involve a considerable number of details and independent judgment. Additionally, the candidate will perform other work-related tasks as assigned and must comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three or more years of experience assembling and testing oilfield equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and/or repair various new and older products using independent judgment.
• Build, repair, and/or test a variety of products using standard and/or non-standard tools and equipment.
• Accurately record results and documentation for product certification.
• Read machine assembly specifications, such as charts and blueprints.
• Complete various records and documentation.
• Work on precision sub-assembly, assembly, or rework of parts.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Assemble and test all oilfield equipment according to engineering specifications.
• Identify and utilize all low and high pressure testing equipment.
