About The Position
Koch Capabilities is seeking Safety interns to join our teams for the Summer 2025 internship program. This program is designed for students pursuing a degree or alternative program in safety or related fields. The internship will last for 12 weeks, running from late May to mid-August 2025, and will provide interns with hands-on experience in various safety roles, including Industrial Health and Health & Safety Specialist positions. Interns will be placed in one of several locations, including Enid, OK, and will work under the guidance of a supervisor and an on-site mentor to assist in their development and project execution. During the internship, Safety Interns will engage in a variety of projects and initiatives that will enhance their understanding of industrial hygiene and safety practices. Responsibilities will include conducting industrial hygiene surveys and exposure monitoring, maintaining data entry and recordkeeping for industrial hygiene, and gaining practical experience in safe work practices such as work permitting, energy control, hot work, and confined space entry. Interns will also be expected to proactively identify and correct safety issues in the field, contributing to the overall safety culture of the organization.
