About The Position

The Knowledge Management Lawyer (KM Lawyer) will oversee the creation, organization, and delivery of knowledge assets for Pillsbury's Corporate & Securities M&A and EC/VC Practice Groups. This role involves supporting a wide range of knowledge services, including the collation of precedents, monitoring legal developments, coordinating training, and handling legal research inquiries. The position offers a flexible working schedule, including the option for remote work.

Requirements

• J.D., Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent degree.
• 7+ years of relevant law firm experience as a practicing attorney in corporate and securities transactions.
• Extensive knowledge of legal documents and legal practice in M&A and EC/VC transactions.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard form M&A and related corporate transactional documentation.
• Develop and maintain standard form EC/VC and related corporate transactional documentation.
• Assist practice group leaders with training programs, advising on curriculum and preparing training materials.
• Monitor current legal developments for the practice and key industries.
• Inform attorneys of important events through various communication methods.
• Prepare communications and tailored thought leadership materials for clients regarding legal developments.
• Utilize attorneys within the C&S Groups to support the Knowledge Management effort.
• Identify, collect, and organize work product for the C&S Groups in the Knowledge Management database.
• Select preferred documents for transactions and identify precedents for future use.
• Add annotations and value-add commentary to precedent documents.
