As a Knowledge Management Intern at Altra Federal Credit Union, you will be an integral part of our Human Resources and Talent Development team. This paid internship is designed for students looking to gain practical experience while contributing to a leading organization in the financial industry. The internship will require a commitment of 15-25 hours per week, allowing you to balance your academic responsibilities with professional development. The position is temporary and will last between nine to twelve months, starting in Fall 2024, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement and workload needs. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and publishing valuable knowledge resources within Altra's online training manual. Your tasks will include developing and updating content through both individual efforts and collaborative team projects. You will analyze various topics to create easily understandable documentation that serves a wide audience, ultimately contributing to Altra's success and expansion. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining the Site Content Library of the Online Training Manual, fostering creative thinking to generate new ideas for content and workflow improvements, and collaborating with subject-matter experts to ensure accurate coverage of specialized subjects. Additionally, you will analyze information necessary for developing or revising policy, procedure, and form documentation, support ad-hoc projects related to knowledge management and organizational learning, and communicate weekly updates via the Policies/Procedures and Talent Development Blogs. You will also assist in creating eLearning quizzes for the Teller and Retail areas, enhancing the training experience for employees.
