Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in knowledge management, document control, or project administration within an AEC environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize, multi-task and be detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work well with and communicate with all employees and managers.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential and sensitive information, sound judgement.
  • Strong technical computer skills, comfortable working in various systems.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AEC industry standards and terminology, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the firm’s knowledge repositories, including project documentation, standards, templates, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure proper taxonomy, tagging, and metadata for easy retrieval of information.
  • Coordinate with project teams to capture and archive key deliverables and technical insights.
  • Assist in developing and implementing knowledge-sharing processes and tools.
  • Monitor compliance with knowledge management protocols and implement improvements.
  • Support onboarding and training initiatives by providing access to relevant resources.
  • Assist in facilitation knowledge-sharing sessions, webinars, and workshops.
  • Manage content within collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint or other AEC-specific systems).
  • Troubleshoot basic issues related to knowledge management tools and escalate as needed.
