About The Position

It’s a great time to join Velcro Companies! The position is for the second shift in Somersworth, United States of America, with work hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The job objective is to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and time standards. The individual will perform varying assignments daily.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or GED required.
• Previous experience operating production machinery to set standards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the operation of multiple processes.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Operate complex manufacturing equipment following established procedures and Control Plans.
• Read and interpret the Discrete Job Routing Sheet.
• Perform quality checks as required.
• Complete necessary computer transactions or paperwork.
• Maintain established production standards.
• Accountable for personal goals and the department’s team goals.
• Demonstrate the capability to learn to operate in several different departments after required training has been met.
• Successfully complete training and operate powered industrial trucks.
