About The Position

The Knife Sharpener is responsible for diligently and accurately sharpen the knives and scissors from department. Must be detail oriented must possess the ability to document/ communicate clearly with department lead and/ or supervisor as well as with upper management

Requirements

• Good Attendance
• Ability to work in cold and wet environment.
• Good mechanical and technical skills
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work.
• Other job duties as needed or assigned by Supervisor/Lead.

Responsibilities

• Communicates verbally with supervisors and associates.
• Ability to be trained if necessary, sharpening skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Efficiently and safely sharpen tools for employees.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
