About The Position

The Kitting Technician is responsible for handling and preparing a wide range of differing textiles and materials to produce kit components in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This is a full-time role with flexible shift patterns offered to match your lifestyle. Full training and development will be offered.

Requirements

• Ideally, but not essential, experience in working in a manufacturing type of environment.
• Self-starter requiring minimum supervision and able to perform job assignments with a very high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people.
• High level of manual dexterity and detail orientation.
• A keen eye for detail and a quality focused approach to producing accurate work are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handling and preparing a wide range of differing textiles and materials to produce kit components in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure parts and installation kits are properly identified and labelled.
• Ensure correct certification paperwork is maintained with parts throughout kitting process.
• With training, interpret detailed diagrams and drawings to prepare materials for precision cutting.
• Completing all required paperwork for kitting and certification.
• Adhering to all Health and Safety Regulations as directed.
