The Job at a Glance O ur Kitting Team Lead ( i nternally known as Team Lead, OEM Parts Wrangler ) will help improve new-hire training, problem solving, and perform operational oversight to our larger and more automated Fulfillment Center . By taking on the Team Lead role, you’ll get a greater level of respons ibility and further your career development. The Kitting Team Lead would assist the team as it takes product from Receiving and prepares the inventory to be safely stored in the FC. A Typica l Day
Requirements
- You possess the ability to move around for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 4 0lbs unassisted.
- You're a top pe rformer in current role and ha ve experience in the areas you wish to work in
- You d emonstrate a passion for leadership and career growth!
- You are vehicle certified or willing to become certified to operate vehicles on a daily basis as needed
- You must have the availability to work M-F 6 :00 AM - 2:30 PM , with flexibility as needed (potentially Saturdays)
- You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the back order report to ensure materials are getting out in a timely manner
- Providing operational oversight over the flow of material through the kitting department
- Continual coaching to team members on the processes and equipment within the Kitting department
- Researching and providing guidance to solve daily transactional problems
- Test, develop and document standard operating practices for core area
- Provide call-in coverage as needed by becoming highly cross-trained in most DC operations
- Ensuring safety, quality, housekeeping and productivity expectations are communicated
- Provide leadership during projects and on the Saturday shift
