About The Position

The goal of this position is to lead the shipping, cleanliness, safety, and leadership of the TMMTX shipping center. This includes all aspects of understanding parts inventory, communication for support, container inventory, picking, adhering to all shipment SWI’s, communication to carriers and release analysts at TMMTX. Understanding customer expectations and escalating to Supervisors when needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 6 months in order selecting or warehouse experience.
Candidate must have some experience in scanning against shipper’s or picking sheets.
Use of a scanning gun/ or wrist scanner to scan totes coming in from the finished goods in warehouse.
Beginner to intermediate level in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and in the use of e-mail, web browser applications.
Basic math skills.
Minimal analytical, planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.
Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a variety of projects and tasks.
Takes initiative, approaches others in a positive and constructive manner, and works well independently to achieve results.
Must be able to work with a wide variety of personalities to create a positive work environment, and professionally resolve conflicts.
100% of the time will be spent on the production plant floors walking, standing and engaged in the activities associated with the role.
Be comfortable with lifting, squatting, and repetitive motion.
Must be able to team lift a minimum of 50 pounds, 25 pounds alone.
Be able to work in an environment that is climate controlled but is exposed to potential heat, rain, and cold.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
Knowledge of ILVS (In Line Vehicle Sequencing) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage movement of resources such as team member, materials, parts to optimize kitting and sequencing process.
Monitor order changes/revisions/removals – planning and executing necessary order adjustments in ILVS system including assigning this work for completion.
Handle day-to-day shipping and receiving tasks, including loading, packing, and inspecting products.
Separate parts/material into a single kit to be delivered to TMMTX to ensure maximum efficiency at the assembly line.
Scan all transactions using SIG to confirm accuracy of sets.
Assist in stocking products and maintaining inventory levels.
Communicate daily with customer regarding any issues or as requested by customer.
Enforce all safety and HR polices as well
Understand and adhere to Standardized Work Instructions.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Ability to effectively coach, train and develop and engage team members to meet KPI expectations.
Perform leadership over team leads during Supervisor’s absence.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
