The Kitten Nursery Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Kitten Nursery and Bottle Baby ICU, ensuring high quality care, treatment, and coordination of staff and volunteers. This role is responsible for accurate medical recordkeeping in Chameleon, including daily weights, project To Dos, and foster/rescue documentation, while collaborating closely with Foster, Rescue, Outreach, and Veterinary teams to maintain appropriate capacity levels. The Coordinator manages treatments, medications, data entry workflows, supplies, cleanliness, and safety, communicates regularly with leadership and veterinarians, performs technician duties alongside the team, and supports meetings and planning efforts, all while playing a hands on role in caring for our most vulnerable kittens.

Requirements

High schooldiploma/GED required.
Minimum 2 years working in animal welfare setting.
Must be able to fulfill all duties of a Technician I or II.
Strong communication skills are needed.
Should have good interpersonal skills and be able to resolve conflict.

Nice To Haves

Graduation from technical school preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
