About The Position

Morning kitchen shifts available. Full or part time Pay is Base pay of $17/hr. + Tips ($5 - $7 avg) Total pay will be $22 -$24/hr. We are looking for friendly, well organized and energetic individuals to join our day time kitchen crew. Prep vegetables and deli meats, make sandwiches and salads, restock lines, and light dishwashing. We offer medical and dental benefits as well as profit sharing once qualified. Paid for by Kalapawai Cafe and Deli Kaiser Permanente HMSA Wages include tips (on check)

Requirements

• Availability to work mornings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in a team in a very fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Basic knife skills are a bonus but we are willing to train

Responsibilities

• Prep vegetables and deli meats
• Make sandwiches and salads
• Restock lines
• Light dishwashing
• Daily kitchen prep for both lunch and dinner services
• General cleaning and facilities maintenance
• Adhere to chef's recipes and preferred cooking techniques
