About The Position

At Asbury Methodist Village, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time kitchen staff member. This role involves completing daily sanitation assignments in all dining and kitchen areas, assisting in organizing food and supply orders, and ensuring that the loading dock is clean and organized. The position requires working every other weekend and every other holiday, with shifts available from 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 8:30pm. The pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily sanitation assignments in all dining and kitchen areas including equipment and supplies following correct procedures.
• Assists in arranging and organizing food and supply orders.
• Ensures loading (receiving) dock is clean and organized.
• Properly wraps, labels and dates food items to be stored in refrigerator, freezer or storage room.
• Washes dishes, pots, and pans as assigned.
