About The Position

The Kitchen Utility Specialist is responsible for washing dishes and pots produced by co-workers, keeping area neat, clean and safe; particularly preventing accidents from a wet floor by mopping up in a timely manner. Cleans shelves, bins, tables, coolers and floor on a regularly scheduled basis.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent follow through
• Willing to hold self and others accountable
• Lifting up to 60 lbs. comfortably on a regular basis. Walking, standing for long periods, sitting, keyboarding, reaching, bending, and carrying.
• Monday through Friday daytime hours with flexibility to shift hours to meet demands. Some evenings and weekends required with advanced notice.

Nice To Haves

• Kitchen or Restaurant experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes as received from co-workers, keeping area neat, clean and safe, particularly preventing accidents from a wet floor by mopping up in a timely manner
• Cleans assigned areas to maintain safe and sanitary conditions
• Cleans shelves, bins, tables, coolers and floors on a regularly scheduled basis following sanitary procedures
• Follows closing procedures to ensure complete sanitation of area
• Put away deliveries as needed
• Adhere to all Co-op policies and procedures including the Employee Code of Conduct
• Participate in department meetings and complete all required trainings for the purpose of maintaining Co-op standards
• All other duties as assigned
