Position Overview: The Kitchen Utility Specialist is responsible for washing dishes and pots produced by co-workers, keeping area neat, clean and safe; particularly preventing accidents from a wet floor by mopping up in a timely manner. Cleans shelves, bins, tables, coolers and floor on a regularly scheduled basis.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow through
- Willing to hold self and others accountable
Nice To Haves
- Kitchen or Restaurant experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Washes dishes as received from co-workers, keeping area neat, clean and safe, particularly preventing accidents from a wet floor by mopping up in a timely manner
- Cleans assigned areas to maintain safe and sanitary conditions
- Cleans shelves, bins, tables, coolers and floors on a regularly scheduled basis following sanitary procedures
- Follows closing procedures to ensure complete sanitation of area
- Put away deliveries as needed
- Adhere to all Co-op policies and procedures including the Employee Code of Conduct
- Participate in department meetings and complete all required trainings for the purpose of maintaining Co-op standards
- All other duties as assigned
