About The Position

Responsible for the daily operation of the dish machines, cleaning pots and pans, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen.

Requirements

• After training, an individual must be able to perform all essential duties, as listed above.
• An applicant must be able to understand and follow safety rules, instructions for equipment and MSDS fact sheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish machine for cleaning dishes and utensils
• Place floor mats at each kitchen station
• Place trash cans at each kitchen station
• Follow weekly cleaning schedule
• Clean and organize china, glass, and silverware
• Clean glass racks
• Change dish machine water every two hours
• Empty trash cans as needed
• Sweep and mop floors as needed during the shift and at the end of the shift
• Wash floor mop at the end of the shift and hang it properly so that it will dry for next use
• Clean the office and the mop closet
• Clean and sanitize utility sinks
• Clean floor mats at the end of the PM shift
• Break down dish machine, clean it, and put it back together for next use
