About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full time KITCHEN UTILITY LEAD positions at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. The schedule is full time with varying days from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, including rotating weekends and all major holidays. The role involves assisting shift supervisors and department directors in the day-to-day functions of the department, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring that all schedules are assigned and completed daily. The position requires leading and supervising a team of 8-10 dishwashers, with a preference for candidates with one to two years of prior experience in a similar role.

Requirements

• One to two years of prior experience leading and supervising a team of 8-10 dishwashers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Provide assignments and assistance to team members.
• Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment in all aspects of job performance.
• Relieve shift supervisor in times of absence.
• Adjust or cover schedules as needed during times of short staffing.
• Ensure that team members maintain set standards by conducting quality assurance surveys.
• Monitor and report any equipment issues or shortages.
• Conduct customer and patient surveys.
• Interact with patients/customers in an appropriate manner in relation to age-based competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
