About The Position

The Kitchen Utility Associate plays a key role in maintaining a clean, efficient, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position supports daily food service operations by operating dishwashing equipment, organizing and storing kitchen tools, and ensuring prep and service areas remain safe and orderly. The Kitchen Utility Associate contributes to a positive guest and team experience by upholding cleanliness standards and assisting with basic kitchen tasks as needed. Requirements

  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work cooperatively with a team.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a warm, humid, or fast-paced kitchen environment.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Previous kitchen, dishwashing, or food service experience is helpful but not necessary

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the dish machine according to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment across all work areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and equipment stations.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers regularly and safely transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Assist in maintaining clean and organized prep, service, and storage areas.
  • Monitor dish area supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Support kitchen operations with additional tasks as assigned
