About The Position

The Kitchen Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing restaurant, kitchen, and bar equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safely, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or trade school/experience equivalent required.
• Experience in basic plumbing, electrical, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Be organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to learn and grow skillsets.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time, in proper uniform, and while following the company appearance standards.
• Have basic knowledge in working safely and effectively with hand and power tools.
• Install new equipment as needed.
• Work with and diagnose electrical, water/steam, and natural gas systems.
• Maintain a record of preventative and repair maintenance conducted.
• Respond promptly to needs of the company.
• Maintain constant awareness of safety concerns and alert the manager if unable to remedy any issues.
• Attend and successfully complete training courses and requirements.
