About The Position
Dash In is seeking enthusiastic Team Members to join their kitchen team, offering a starting wage of $15.50 per hour with an additional $1 per hour premium for overnight shifts. As a proud member of the Wills Group family of brands, Dash In is launching a new, chef-inspired food concept designed to revolutionize delicious eats in a 24/7 retail environment. The role involves assembling an epic Back of House (BOH) team to prepare delectable dishes and deliver an extraordinary food service experience to guests. As a Kitchen Associate, you will be the culinary wizard behind the scenes, crafting mouthwatering meals and ensuring guests leave with smiles as big as their appetites.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
- 1 year of food service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
- Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
- Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Active ServSafe certification, or a similar qualification
- Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality codes, conjuring up culinary delights that leave taste buds dancing
- Keep an eagle eye on prep levels, making sure everything's in tip-top shape and ready to serve
- Keep your prep station shipshape by restocking, organizing, and keeping things tidy
- Put incoming goods in their proper place, ensuring everything's ready for the cooking extravaganza
- Maintain the kitchen's impeccable appearance by staying on top of the cleanliness game
- Connect with guests, delivering a personalized experience that leaves them coming back for seconds
- Operate food service equipment like deep fryers and slicers like a seasoned pro
- Flex muscles and use proper lifting techniques to handle large containers like five-gallon soft drink containers, weighing in at 50 to 65 pounds
