About The Position

The position includes both Part-Time and Full-Time roles in a restaurant setting. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing dishes during lunch or dinner service while maintaining communication with colleagues and adhering to food safety practices. Dishwashers play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of kitchenware and perform physically demanding tasks in a hot, humid environment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous high-volume restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to move quickly, efficiently and safely through the kitchen
• Strong work ethic to execute demanding physical and mental work under pressure
• Positive attitude that remains consistent under pressure

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures at all times
• Keep your assigned station and equipment clean, sanitized and orderly during your shift
• Safely operate your assigned station and equipment; report any functional or mechanical problems to a manager immediately
• Execute daily food prep in an accurate & timely manner according to recipes and direction
• Set up and stock assigned line station accurately and efficiently
• Remain in your station preparing all food ordered throughout assigned shift
• Constant attention to food quality, preparation quality, and plate presentation
• Maintain ticket time consistency
• Communicate professionally & efficiently with colleagues
• Perform all side duties and cleaning duties as assigned
• Perform additional duties related to kitchen operations as assigned by managers
