Requirements

  • Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control

  • Serv-Safe certification or relevant training is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen efficiency
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Develop and implement kitchen procedures and standards to improve productivity
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment maintenance
