The Kitchen Supervisor at Destination by Hyatt is responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. This position requires a basic understanding of kitchen operations within the hotel and involves supervising hourly cooks. The Kitchen Supervisor should have basic skills in department training and be capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge required include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, communication, leadership skills, and computer skills. The role may also involve assisting in monitoring payroll costs and overtime.
