Job Summary: Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish station, three compartment sink, and staff cafeteria.
Requirements
- Three months of experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Kitchen Steward is also responsible for taking out and keeping all garbage, recyclables and cardboard boxes organized.
- Kitchen Steward is also responsible for the nightly cleaning of the kitchen which includes sweeping and moping all the floors, stoves, hood vents, griddles, grills, and closing down the dish area.
