Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend simple directions. Must use understanding, compassion, patience, tact and maturity in dealing with the residents, families and visitors. Strength required is classified as medium work. Lifting 50-lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Job Specific Duties: Receives and checks-in food and culinary supplies deliveries; Inventory management of culinary food and supplies; Distributes food and culinary supplies to multiple on-site kitchens/pantries; Prepares, seasons and cooks appealing and nutritious meals for residents, employees and guests. Lifting requirement of 50 lbs. Must have the ability to maintain a good relationship with the staff and residents.
