Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or foodservice roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of kitchen/food service cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper procedures.
  • Ability to operate an industrial floor scrubbing machine.
  • A friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
  • Must be a positive team player with flexible schedules who like to have fun and have the passion to work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of food preparation and other assigned areas including but not limited to kitchen, pot room, dish room, laundry room and dry storage.
  • Clean, sanitize and label all children's highchairs.
  • Ensure all trash receptacles are emptied after food outlet(s) are closed and properly cleaned both inside and out.
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning of larger kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, fryers, and refrigerators.
  • Clean vents, filters, and exhaust systems to ensure air quality and hygiene in foodservice areas.
  • Report any health or safety hazards to the supervisor and take immediate action to address issues if needed.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and inform supervisors when stock levels are low.
  • Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored when not in use.
  • Follow Company and departmental environmental and safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
