About The Position

City Barbeque is seeking line cooks, meat cutters, and carvers with experience for our back of house (BOH) team. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours. Candidates must have availability for evening and weekend shifts. Our goal is to serve great BBQ and create happiness, providing a fun and fulfilling job or a career that offers growth opportunities. Team members will carve smoked-on-site meats, craft sides from scratch, and foster an atmosphere of genuine backyard hospitality.

Requirements

• Experience in a back of house role such as line cook, meat cutter, or carver
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail in food preparation and sanitation

Responsibilities

• Provide great backyard hospitality for guests
• Work in a fast and independent manner
• Cross-train and work multiple stations
• Consistently follow proper recipes and procedures
• Maintain high standards for food preparation and sanitation
• Contribute to the team by taking initiative and helping others
• Arrive on time for each shift and practice proper time reporting
• Complete hot food prep assignments accurately and according to sanitation guidelines
• Prepare take out and catering orders in a timely fashion
• Follow station checklists and cleaning lists consistently and thoroughly
• Provide a positive attitude when interacting with teammates and guests
