About The Position

The Kitchen staff is responsible for plan food service for the summer camp season.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in mass food cooking and serving.
  • Possess supervisory skills.
  • Ability to relate well and communicate with others.
  • Desire and ability to work in camp setting.
  • Background Check will be required.
  • Must hold membership in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the tenets of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for an extended period.
  • Ability to lift to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to seasonal weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Cook meals for the summer camp season.
  • Know safety procedures and general rules of kitchen/dining hall.
  • These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned, and other duties may be assigned as required.
  • Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and amongst the membership.
