About The Position

This position is for a future Chick-fil-A restaurant projected to open Fall 2025. Leaders hired now will be employed and trained at a different Chick-fil-A. Final restaurant placement is subject to change at the discretion of the operator. We are seeking a shift leader who can lead a team in delivering great food, fast and accurate service, and a clean and safe environment. This role requires a great sense of urgency, proactive planning, sound decision making, leading by example, and great communication. Performance expectations are high and this role is challenging. Requirements

  • Be on time and offer your best at every shift
  • Work with a sense of urgency
  • Prioritize the needs of guests and the team before your own
  • Read and abide by everything outlined in the team member handbook
  • Possess excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Stand for periods up to 5 hours and lift objects as heavy as 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned shifts and complete all required tasks
  • Set the example and uphold our standards of service among the team
  • Arrange a team according to strengths, delegate tasks, and hold team members accountable
  • Ensure team members complete daily food quality checks and cleaning tasks
  • Coordinate kitchen operations to prepare catering orders alongside daily operations
  • Motivate and inspire others to do their best work
  • Lead the team in carrying out our mission: Be Better, Be Second!

  • Resolve conflict quickly and professionally
