About The Position

As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment while also ensuring that the restaurants and kitchens are fully stocked with clean china, glass, silverware, and cooking utensils. No experience? No problem – we will train you!

Requirements

  • Must pass drug screening and background investigation.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a courteous manner.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Must have the ability to effectively “Problem Solve” which may involve several variables.
  • The individual is regularly required to monitor activities, communicate, and listen.
  • The individual is also regularly required to bend, stand, stoop, walk, sit, lift push, pull, and use hand/eye coordination.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lb.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work in restricted space.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operates dishwashing equipment to provide clean dishes and utensils
  • Monitors water temperatures to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • Bags and transfers all food waste to appropriate receptacles
  • Carefully handles china, glass, and silverware to limit breakage
  • Monitors, requisitions, and stocks cleaning supplies
  • Attends and participates in Department Meetings
  • Collaborate with FOH and BOH TEAM to ensure a high-quality guest experience
  • Practice and promote all applicable food service health and safety regulations
  • Clean kitchen production equipment as needed
  • Ensure that all kitchen floors are swept and mopped as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
