About The Position

Kitchen Prep Cook We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team in the vibrant setting of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Prep Cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in food preparation.
  • Efficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion ingredients according to the recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Maintain a well-organized and clean workstation, ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations.
  • Ensure all prepared items meet quality standards and are consistent with menu specifications.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
